The new Adventure Mode has been revealed in Super Smash Bros Brawl, The Subspace Emissary. This time around, the adventures have storylines. Thirteen new screenshots and one new video are up, which also include Princess Peach in them. This story will have you battling many enemies, meeting up with past characters from past games, and getting past every obstacle that comes your way.

Super Smash Bros. Brawl: The Subspace Emissary is a robust side-scrolling action game!

More than anything, Smash Bros. is a competitive action game. People have been kind enough to praise its multiplayer, but we’ve never been able to create a fully fleshed out single-player game.

This time, though, we’ve managed to create a complete side-scrolling action game. It’s storyline isn’t overwrought—it’s hastened along by a bunch of quick movies.

The Adventure mode also emphasizes character development. You’ll see many famous characters persevering under the weight of their personal histories, shouldering their unique burdens... It’s really something you won’t see anywhere else.

With so many wonderful characters appearing together, it’s like a dream action game. We’re putting tons of fighting spirit into making this game, so I hope you’re all looking forward to it.

Oh, and this is all included in the same Game Disc, so rest easy.

Awesome! I was already sold on the adventure mode of last game, actually making it worth-while is great.

The adventure mode in Melee was...a fun diversion at best. It really wasn't anything spectacular. I know they said that this new adventure mode will be much deeper than Melee's, but I didn't expect cinematics and everything! This looks very interesting. I'm really looking forward to trying this out. I'd like to see some differences when using different characters, although considering how many there are that may be asking too much.

This looks a lot better than Melee's by far. Melee did have a good one, but just by looking at even the screens it will make you wish you had a Wii. I'm glad to see Princess Peach back in the spotlight again. I don't recall ever seeing what she was supposed to look like. Nice find!

I'm glad they added her into this video, the graphics on her are awesome, and she is my best and most used character. Although I'm guessing Monday's update on the site will be Princess Peach then.

taking a 1P deeper than a good multiplayer makes a fantastic game.
