Nintendo has just recently begun to circulate their fourth line of wrist straps, this time with a bit of different technology. We don't know why we need another one, but if it's free... Count me in!

As you can see below, this new Wii Remote wrist strap includes a little locking clip, replacing the sliding clip of the previous models, which had a tendency to slide away from the player's wrist and loosen the strap. This new model would be the fourth incarnation of the strap; the first was the original model which tended to break, the second would be the replacement straps with the thicker connector to the remote, and the third was the replacement of the replacement that lacked the Nintendo and Wii branding.

Um news flash, wait this isn't news. How about people hold the damn remote instead of looking for straps, its just like the article about the remote can hurt people. I guess the term beast haven't crossed anyone minds

I don't know why we need new wrist straps. The current one is fine for me.

Current ones havent caused me any issues, people must be putting some serious force to break them in the first place.

Haha, I'm with Gregory here, although the new straps do look promising. People have flung their Wii-motes into TV's and such breaking them, saw that on the news xD

I guess this solves the problem of the wrist straps sliding away from you when you're playing.

Lol, they should make arm braces. That would be funny.

People need to realize they're swinging the things around too hard. All you need is fast slight movements.

That's how they should have come in the first place, but better late than never. Nice design.

The thing is I still have the wrist straps from when the Wii was launched with. I've never had a problem with them. So I'm sure right now I won't be needing this.

They look like a real improvement and will prove to be quite useful.

If you need one of these, you really need to stop flinging your controllers around. It's not good for them. Seriously.

This accessory should stop kids from flinging the Wiimote at the TV.
