Tecmo announced the impending release of three new down loadable survival modes for Ninja Gaiden Sigma. The first of the three down loadable modes will be released on the PlayStation Network on August 30, 2007 at a price of $2.99.

Extending the critically acclaimed game play experience, the new battle-oriented survival modes feature three different themes: “Weapon Master,” “Speed Master,” and “Rachel Master.”

[] In the “Weapon Master” mode, the player must master their chosen weapon to fight off relentless enemy attacks. Choices are limited, so choose wisely.

[] “Speed Master,” available the latter half of September, features a theme of speed. Players must defeat enemies as quickly as possible as both life and time are limited. The ability to move quickly in this acrobatic stage is the key to success.

[] Available the latter half of October, “Rachel Master” features five survival battles where the player controls Rachel. Only the winner of these battles can claim to be the best Fiend Hunter. Rachel’s new hair style also becomes available with this download.

Ninja Gaiden has evolved once again for the PS3, featuring more ninja content than ever, new weapons and combos, new enemies and bosses, new stages and missions, and for the first time ever Rachel the Fiend Hunter as a playable character.

Yeaaaheheheheh awesome! I love this game so much. Can't wait for a fresh challenge, even though the current challenges are more than enough to keep me occupied most of the day.

This game has taken up quite a bit of my time, heh. The only challenge I'm skeptical about is Rachel's...I never died so much in any other game with a character xD

Well, I have Sigma...but I stopped playing after I got owned several times in the second level -_-

Its one of those games I'll pick up and play again later, when I'm low on cash, or just don't care much about current new games...

Doubt I'll get the extra content...it'll take all I can give, to beat the main story anyhow -_-
