Had a problem with your XBOX360, and it's suddenly showing you the Red Ring of Death? Well Microsoft have launched a new website that will allow you to get your XBOX360 repaired much quicker than before, without having to listen to those at the Call Centers telling you how "it's your fault that your getting the red ring of death".

Just hop over to the new Service Site, and you'll be able to track your XBOX360 from the moment you send in your XBOX360 to them.

The downside however is that the service is only available to the US for the time being, however, after the service is tested a bit more, chances are that it will be available to Europe and the rest of the world.

This new service lets you register your Xbox or Xbox 360 console, setup a repair, and track the status of the repair, all online. This new site lets you create In-Warranty or Out-of-warranty repairs, and even gives you a $5 discount for Out-of-Warranty repairs.

Good stuff Microsoft. I'm glad to know that they are taking action and such, rather than sitting around letting the time go by. Hope this will show those 360-haters <_< Now all they need to do is solve the RRoD problem.

Well this doesn't solve the problem, but it does say getting your system back quicker, which sounds good. But again lets not jump to conclusions just yet.

Yeah, you never jump to conclusions, huh?

And this is a repair center, finalblade. It's not meant to "cure the RRoD." That's what the 65nm chips and extra heatsink are for.

I've (luckily) never experienced any issues with my Xbox 360, but this system seems like something they should have had running from the very start. Nonetheless it is still welcome and is definitely better than being kept in the dark.
