LA Noire exclusive for PS3

Take-Two's financial reports that were released yesterday and showed that they are planning a exclusive game towards the Playstation 3 and the team behind it is going to be La Noire. Though this has not been officially released as an exclusive, the evidence towards this shows that the Playstation 3 was the only listed console on the report.

Gaming fans were again disappointed this week by the seemingly inevitable delay of Grand Theft Auto: IV for both the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360

While fans of the series were heartbroken by the news, there was one shining beam of light for PS3 owners around the world. According to financial reports released yesterday by Take-Two their upcoming game, LA Noire, is listed only for the PS3.

There have been no formal announcements by Take-Two or Rockstar on the exclusivity, but we at PSU are ecstatic about the news. In an ever changing next-gen console race, developer support is a key factor in the success of a console.

    When it was unveiled last year it looked like a 1950's crime thriller, looked very interesting, looked to be finally the ultra realistic mafia game gamers have wanted.

    If they are suffering financial problems, surely they will recoup more money by making the game available on a wider variety of platforms?

    Well if Team Bondi the makers of LA Noire are only making it for one console then Take Two have to accept it, its like Konami and Metal Gear 4 yeah they want it multi platform but Kojima's telling them to *bleep* off, a publisher can't do a thing without the developer... The developer ultimately makes the publisher money so in situations the publisher is at the mercy of the dev team.

      I could care less, seeing as how there's more than enough titles coming out this holiday season to keep me busy. I just love the quality of reporting we have here on Gamegrep.

    Maybe it might but this might be the game that Sony will have exclusive rights to by giving Microsoft Grand Theft Auto. Then in that case it wont be avalible to you guys. I dont know why we let GTA slip tho ¬___¬

      It's not, Jack Tretton stated at E3 that this is not the exclusive, Rockstar are publishing this game and Team Bondi are making it, it is an exclusive but it is not the game Sony are crazy about.

    But yeah, as long as Rockstar confirmed it's exclusive to PS3 then it will be. They also mentioned the reason why has something to do with Blu Ray and etc...
