Sega Game Lineup for Tokyo Game Show ?

tidus04 | August 04, 2007 | News | PC Playstation 2
Xbox 360 Rally has claimed to have got there hands on what is supposed to be the up and coming titles Sega will be offering at the Tokyo Game Show. These titles range from Beijing 2008, Crazy Taxi, Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games, Medieval II, Phantasy Star Universe, Shenmue 3, Sonic Rush Adventure and many more over all main console including Playstation 3, Nintendo Wii, Nintendo Ds, Playstation Portable and Xbox 360.
Shenmue. Either you loved it for it’s engrossing story and memorable characters, or you hated it for it’s often tedious and boring gameplay. It goes without saying that the Shenmue series has garnered one of the most loyal underground followings of any game franchise since Bad Dudes (I’m a bad enough dude to rescue the President. Are you?). Regardless, ever since it was announced all those moons ago that Shenmue III would NOT be coming to the Xbox, fans of the series have been clammering for the chance to get their paws on the next chapter of this epic story.

That wait may very well be coming to an end. Soon. A leaked lineup list from SEGA’s TGS roster of titles lists Shenmue III for the Xbox 360. Other titles on that list include Space Channel 5 part 3, and Jet Set Radio Next (or Jet Grind Radio stateside). Chu Chu Rocket is also listed as a title coming to the Xbox Live Arcade, which is sure to make a ton of people very, very happy.

In the blink of an eye, I’m suddenly interested in SEGA again. Read the full roster after the break.

I am EXTREMELY interested in the Shenmue titles. I've been wanting all three of them to come out for the 360. I will seriously cry if they do.

Sega certainly have a lot of Sonic at the moment, and that's more Mario than I have ever seen from them. (Sorry for the horrible joke, I couldn't resist.)

I'm liking the sound of around five of those games. In particular, Virtua Fighter 5 and Football Manager Live.

Yeah. It's a DS RPG. I wasn't particularly interested until I heard it was Bioware working on it. Bioware has made some amazing RPGs in the past.

Skies of Arcadia 2? SoA is an RPG, correct? Nice to see an RPG for the Wii, it has been severely lacking in that department. Happy Tree Friends is getting a game . Wow, I wonder what that will let you do...

EDIT: There is a Sonic RPG for the 360 and PS3 now, as well . I wonder how that will turn out.

I'm inclined to agree, none of those titles really captured my attention. BTW, what about Condemned 2, isn't that a Sega game?

I am probably the only one interested in Beijing 2008 but that's woo for me, I love the track and field button mashing games, they are rather amusing for a short period of time and it's great.

Also Worldwide Soccer Manager Live? Anyone got some information on that? Sounds promising.

I should have clarified in my first comment - Worldwide Soccer Manager Live is just the American name for Football Manager Live, the internet incarnation of a game that I'm sure you're familiar with.

The original reporter of the rumour has apologized and confirmed that the line-up is false. Here is their apology. Apparently, the supposedly trustworthy person who reported it to the website was wrong.
