Miyamoto Wants 2011 Release For Mario 3DS

The Nintendo 3DS is severely lacking any good reason to pick the handheld up. Today, we have received some news that at least one legitimate great title is potentially coming out this year.

    Sounds good. Mario platformer games always deliver so I'm not that worried about this game. Just want to play it already haha.

    i wonder if theyll get all clever about it and call it New Super Mario Bros 3DS, seeing as how it would be the 3rd NSMB game technically. i can see them being really corny like that.

      I'm almost positive they won't. This isn't Super Mario Bros. 3, even if it does have the Tanooki suit. This is a mix of Super Mario Galaxy and Super Mario 64, so it wouldn't surprise me all that much if it stayed Super Mario 3DS, or became an entirely new entry in the Super Mario 3D Series.
