Bob Hoskins recently did an interview with The Guardian unlimited and during part of it the question was brought up on the worst movie he ever did. His reply was Super Mario Bros. He says the making movie was a "horrific experience" and it's the worst thing he's ever done. The movie was being directed by a husband and wife team, who were horrible at directing and they got booted off the set. Go to the source to read more.

Warning, strong language is used.

Kotaku: U.K. website Guardian Unlimited has posted an interview with uber talent Bob Hoskins. Amid an interview discussing his career, the pitfalls of getting too into your character and copious f-bombs, Hoskins talks (albiet briefly) about his horrific experience making the Super Mario Brothers movie. so horrific in fact, that he lists it as the worst thing he's ever done. (I wonder if John Leguizamo can say the same?)

I'm a great fan of Bob Hoskins. All actors regret starring in a particular film at some stage of their career.

Cant say I like him all that much but no surprise that a game film would be his worst as most of them I see nowadays are usually rather poor.
