Sony is really trying hard to win the support of it's customer base, aren't they? In the Playstation Network's Terms and Conditions, apparently we've all agreed to absolved Sony....

    That's a bit messed up. Sony have a responsibility to protect sensitive data like that but if it get's stolen then too bad so sad? So if someone lost $1,000 out of their bank account due to this then Sony won't care?

    Seriously, for a giant company like Sony I expected that they'd do better.

    No, this is normal, just like a baseball field stating they cannot be held responsible for damages to cars done by foul balls. Then you sue them saying they need a bigger fence... Sony was smart to put this on their fine print. Online is never fully secure, anyone who thought it was is an idiot.

        well, supposedly, a UK agency might have a case on them if certain conditions are met, but none of the conditions have been confirmed, so its not that big of story... yet
