Cliffy B wanted Master Chief to appear in Gears of War 3

Epic Games asked Microsoft to allow Halo’s Master Chief to make a cameo appearance in Gears of War 3, says lead designer Cliff “Cliffy B” Bleszinski, but Microsoft was "squeamish".

    Don't a lot of hardcore Halo fans and Gears of War fans hate each other, though? I can't a Halo easter egg in Gears of War going well.

      I'm a huge Halo fanboy and I like Gears. I think there's more hate between Halo and Call of Duty tbh.
