Games We Love but Wish We Could Love Playing

One thing you have to say for the guys at Team Boindi, and Rockstar is that they spare no expense on their projects, with L.A. Noire having the highest number of actual actors, many of them well known in many movies that grace our screens, playing just simple NPC roles within the gameworld.
Most developers have actors play the part of major characters only, perhaps one or two even, not 20 or more.
This will be a monumental game to both view and play.
Our usual perpetrator of these articles, Nicholas, has been away and I decided to take over on this week’s [late] iteration of L.A. Noire goodness.
This week in our series we are going to have a look at the media currently available for gamers, rather than a crime-solving film or tv show.
This means showing off the various aspects on the actual game, along with several videos that not only show off the technical advantages, but the various gameplay aspects.
Just what do we expect as we play the role of Colin Phelps, beat cop, right through to Detective 1st Class in Downtown L.A.?

I've also never known any game developer to use proper actors, many of whome we have all seen on the screen, be it large or small screen, for NPCs within a game.
Not one or two, but in excess of 10 major actors outside the main cast. That's some heavy requirements for any developer.
Thank god they have Rockstar behind them.
If you're looking for a serious, yet fun, detective game where your wits are needed, not a BIG GUN, then you'll be happily surprised.
Which is exactly what I'm looking for. I can't wait to do all the detective and forensic stuff.
