Sony: SIXAXIS rumble rumours are false

Sad disappointment today for Sony consumers hoping to soon receive a revamped SIXAXIS controller on their PS3s... that just so happens to be bolstered by the inclusion of force feedback functionality.

Unfortunately dear Sony chums, the gaming behemoth has moved to deny the re-emergence of a rumble feature. Yet, if current Sony smoke and mirrors are anything to go by, it'll probably be announced at the Leipzig convention in Germany.

After rumours surfaced last week that Sony had been sending out rumble-enabled PlayStation 3 SIXAXIS controllers for developers to meddle with, the Japanese electronics giant has now spoken out to deny any such happenings.

"We have not added rumble [to the PS3 SIXAXIS], and have no announcements regarding this feature," announced Dave Karraker, Sony's director of corporate communications, reports Digital Art.

      We all know it's going to happen do we? Well when I've just read "We have not added rumble [to the PS3 SIXAXIS], and have no announcements regarding this feature" I have more faith in MGS4 coming to the 360!

        Sony will release the rumble in the end, they have to as comsumers are demanding that it comes to the console.. simple as to be honest.

    This could be true or false, either way I think this is a lie based on that it will come out later on in the consoles life.. We just want it now.
