Beat 'em ups are always good fun. But then, as a gaming genre, they're not exactly suited to console or PC formats in the control department, which is why GamerSquad is delighted by the appearance of Hori's Virtua Fighter 5 Arcade Stick for the Xbox 360 - a side entrance to the brawler's spiritual home. Button mashing and knob twisting... two of our favourite pastimes.

There's just something about experiencing a videogame on a full-blown arcade machine that a home console just can't offer, which is where the Virtua Fighter 5 Xbox 360 Arcade Stick comes in. In preparation for the game's October 30 release on Microsoft's platform, Hori and GameStop have teamed up to offer the bulky arcade controller for $59.99 USD.

It's a brilliant series. But if I was to buy the game, I probably wouldn't bother with the stick.

I saw the arcade stick in action when I downloaded an E3 video on the Xbox 360's Marketplace. I think it is a neat idea and a cool addition to the game, I'm sure lots of hardcore gamers would relish in the fact they can get this stick.

This is a great idea, simple to make it seem much better as well. I have always enjoyed Joystick over controler when it comes to these games. Great idea.
