Games We Love but Wish We Could Love Playing

At an EB Games store, there was a sign up with the cover that looked pretty real on Super Smash Brothers Brawl for the Wii. They were taking reservations for the game, but that's not what really caught the eye. It was that Sonic the Hedgehog, which there has been a debate on whether he's in it or not, standing behind Mario.
For months, Nintendo and Sega hinted at putting Sonic the Hedgehog into Super Smash Bros. Brawl. Well, it appears an EB Games in Woodbridge Center, NJ, leaked the news. An ad for the upcoming fighter, featuring professional looking box art, prominently displays the blue blur on its cover, along with classic Nintendo characters Birdo (Super Mario Bros. 2) and K.K. Slider (Animal Crossing), among others.
Retailers create mock-ups all the time, but most if not all of them look crude and unprofessional. This looks somewhat legit, especially with the E10+ ESRB rating (the ESRB's Web site doesn't feature a listing for this game).

It would be cool to have him in it though.
It looks like it was made from random graphics, and likely was by someone at EB.
Even the bar on the top is the old one, the one seen in early placeholder boxarts pre-launch.
110% fake.
Edit: K.K. Slider is not an actual player, and Birdo *hopefully* isn't even in the game.
i highly doubt it.
I hate sonic with a passion.
