Microsoft's Xbox Live Arcade appelaed to many gamers when it was revealed over a year and a half ago as part of XBOX Live. And, for a while, it stayed appealing to gamers, however as the time has gone, and title after title has been added to Xbox Live Arcade (which is obviously a good thing) however along with that various practices followed by Microsoft have turned it into something far from appealing (though, I'm sure some still revere the service).

Fortunately, Microsoft can fix this problem, and that too by doing these five short and simple things...it's really simple...

  1. Support it, Microsoft!
  2. Less is more
  3. No more ports
  4. Fix that D-pad
  5. Give Gold subscribers (gasp) free XBLA games
Will Microsoft get the idea and listen to these issues? Only time will tell....

(Read detailed descriptions of each five from the source)

Aegis Wing, Hexic HD and Totemball, anyone? They're free. Most XBLA titles cost $5-$10... not exactly enough to break the bank.

The XBLA is fine. It has a very nice mixture of new titles and classic ports. Where else can I play Boom Boom Rocket, Prince of Perisa, Sonic, Texas Hold'em, Hexic HD, Undertow, etc..?

    Well let me say this:

    1. Support it, Microsoft!= Most likely they will
    2. Less is more = Hmm how so?
    3. No more ports = Most likely won't happen.
    4. Fix that D-pad = Doubt it
    5. Give Gold subscribers (gasp) free XBLA games = Yeah right, in your dreams.

Microsoft HAVE given out free Xbox Live Arcade games, that is a FACT and nothing you can say can change this, therefore it's a reality and not something we dream about. I believe that by reducing the amounts old arcade titles cost or giving out a few more free titles would be a good move to make though.

Still less isn't more thats like saying its opposite more is less. It contradicts each other. Unless there referring to quality over quantity than i kinda agree with that.

I think the price of most new Arcade Games should be taken from 800 down to 500, or 600. I know 800 doesn't really burn a hole in your pocket, but it would just appeal to more people.

The arcade games are pretty expensive...and appealing. We want old games like Golden Axe and such, and at 400 points, that is a steal, but when games come for 800 points, that's pushing things, imo. Add that to the DLC that we want for our games and you got yourself quite a bill.

I want some more free titles, or at least more good 400 MP ones.
