News leaked on information concerning Guitar Hero on the DS. It's a ingenious design, the guitar handle sticking out the of the DS to the side. The whammy bar was a little problem since it's not co-operating with the strum bar.

We're in love with this Guiter Hero DS concept. Sure, its tiny form will cause us carpal tunnel out the whazoo, but the rotating fretboard is a brilliant design to make hand held jamming a reality in a variety of play environments.

The only element we're not sold on is the whammy bar which, though coated with with rubber "to prevent screen damage," doesn't seem to work next to the strum bar. Activision, Harmonix, whoever-the-hell has the rights now—let's make it happen. But an FYI: as long as the fret buttons are in tact, I can just strum with the buttons. You know, if that will help or something.

Heh. Pretty cool design. It's a good thing the fretboard rotates, or else that would be as uncomfortable as hell. The screen however, looks really hard to watch.

Not that really does look nice, a great idea, something I didn't think would ever be possible for a handheld but this image shows that it is very well possible. Guitar Hero is a great game and offering DS gamers to experience the joy is great news.

Wow I thought that Guitar Hero would never work well on the DS, but this design proved me wrong. Yet another great experience on its way to the DS in the future, and I can't wait to try it out.

Looks sweet and it could work. Looks pretty comfortable to hold, but I think the guitar handle will have to be a little bigger.

Am I the only one that things that looks *bleep*ed?

The whole point of guitar hero is that you're playing an accessory modeled after a real guitar.

You might as well play amplitude if you're going to do this.

I creamed myself when I saw this, and saw the picture. Then I got pretty disappointed when I finally calmed down and read the rest of the article. Odds are, this will never happen. The fret buttons don't seem realistic, but you could always use the d-pad as frets, and one of the A, B, Y, or X buttons to strum? Possibly. Meh. I hope it happens. <3

make the frets wireless. They need to be more apart from the screen

If they do make that, it would be good, because I'd be able to buy the game without my parents finding out...

This looks hella uncomfortable to play. Plus whenever you're in public you're just going to look like you're jacking off to everyone standing behind you.

In theory, nice concept. I don't think it'll really be a success in practise though.

If it won't kill my wrist trying to play it then I will by a DS and this game + Pokemon Diamond.

Wow, at first. I thought it would'nt work at all for the DS. But looking at this design. It looks pretty sweet.
