CTA has released a portable charger that holds a similar design to the charger cradle that comes alongside the 3DS upon purchase. It's improved by the addition of the battery built into the Cradle allowing your 3DS to charge away from a plug socket. It also has a neat little stand built into the bottom.

TA Digital has launched the Portable Power Battery Pack for the Nintendo 3DS. But what makes it so interesting is that the design takes many cues from the charging cradle included with the 3DS, and then improves upon that by giving the cradle a battery of its own. You can charge the cradle itself, and then pop your 3DS into it whenever you want to charge your system. It’s also compact enough that you can continue to play the 3DS with the cradle attached. Plus, there’s an integrated stand (pictured above) designed to make viewing video content more comfortable, which I thought was a neat touch.

That's actually pretty interesting. It could be pretty popular if it works better than what Nintendo gave us.

With so many of these gadgets being released to enhance the battery life of the 3DS, this one is going to take some beating. We already have the Nyko Power Pack+ and we have the Hyperkin PowerPlus releasing this summer. I do prefer this one though, I have to say.
