Opera, the firm behind the Internet Explorer rival and the Wii Internet Channel browser has today published the application programming interface (API) for the Wii Remote.

This includes button presses, rotation, distance from the screen and of course, the pointer position. The technology is also compatible with the Nunchuck attachment.
