XBOX 360 Updated.... With Pretty Much Nothing

Today, X360 gamers who logged into their Xbox Live accounts were promoted to download a mandatory update, and with the hopes of new features, I'm certain that many people did so happily. Unfortunately your hope of getting new features will have to be broken and/or put on hold, as the update did nothing other than add support for the Guitar Hero III wireless guitar.

    YOU MEAN THE UPDATE THAT TOOK A MERE SECOND AND A HALF TO DOWNLOAD AND WAS NO INCONVENIENCE AT ALL IS ONLY FOR FUTURE WIRELESS PERIPHERAL SUPPORT? SONUVA BITCH. I WANTED A "CURE CANCER NOW" BLADE. *bleep*.

      I understand it might only take a few seconds to download, but couldn't have have just released this patch with Guitar Hero III instead ?

        Probably not because I would assume that the whole console needs updating in order to make the wireless guitar work in the future, therefore it wouldn't be possible to put into a game update I think right?

        However I was slightly aggreieved to find there was no real update, however I was stupid enough to believe there would be one, Microsoft reveal what they are planning before and there was no word of a good update.

      What's your problem? Why are you defending microsoft?

      There's no point in downloading it if you don't plan on getting the game.

      I doubt a second and a half download, would work for all wireless games.

    Well, i guess many 'Guitar Hero III' players out there are really happy, because they are the only ones that the update was made for.

    Eh, I already bought GHII for the 360 with the controller. I can't afford to fork over another 90 to get a wireless one. I need as much $$$ as I can for all the good games coming out this fall.

    LOL, this was there upgrade that they recently had. I though they would have at least offered a bit more then just the one product or just waited a little and shoved it in with some other things.
