L.A. Noire has been for going on a week now, and while we are still in awe of the MotionScan technology offered in the facial animations, apparently Team Bondi is not finished.

Team Bondi focused on the facial capture too much and it affected the core game. You get to a point in LA Noire where you are doing the same crime over and over and over and over again with location, victim and suspects changed.

Every suspect reacts the same being overtly awkward for no reason and just slowing the game down to make it feel longer than it really should be. The game has promising moments and for the first hour or two it is awe inspiring, but once the awe of the facial capture wears off so to does the games spark.

Really happy with the game so far, fantastic tech and a very unique play style to the game. I'd like more companies to do this, instead of just recycling the same old used techniques in every game, try out something new and innovative for crypes sake as in this case it's really paid off for Team Bondi.
