Microsoft Making Cooling Devices?

A rumor has stirred up that Microsoft is going to be releasing Cooling Devices, mainly for the Xbox 360. The rumor is, that Microsoft is in the process of developing and testing the product. Hopefully, this can solve the 360's overheating issues.

We just received a rather well sourced rumor from Microsoft that they will be releasing 1st Party Cooling Devices. Its said that Microsoft is already developing and testing the new cooling products. No official word has been released about this, but in the past Xbox 360 has been plagued with faulty hardware due to the Xbox 360 overheating because of the weak cooling the console provides itself.

    Well considering the fact its being described as a rumor im not going to say anything other than, take there time and check everything if its true.

    After all is said and done with the 360 and you parade around at your lower price point, you might as well have just bought a PS3 and stopped complaining about the price.

    I love how people believe this, yet MGS4 on X360 coming from a "reliable source" isn't taken seriously at all.

      Why isn't this a serious and believable thing? They've clearly got a problem, when you have a problem you make a solution.

        No doubt. They've dealt with the heating problem by smaller chipsets and an extra heatsink. I seriously doubt they'd release first party cooling accessories.

          Did you not see the recent article that showed that 360 that got refurbished by Microsoft got sent back to them with the identical heatsinks?!

    You never know. Microsoft wants to fix its problems all around to make sure that it's all patched up and won't happen again.

    A separate cooling system isn't even needed that badly. Any heating problems you have can be solved by leaving it in a well-ventilated place and sticking a regular fan in front of it. You could probably just leave your AC on for those really hot days. My friend also mentioned something about putting it on a slab of marble.

    Hopfully they will be adding this towards the consoles as on a personal side I think they need to get this in the newer consoles.
