Playstation 3 Winning Over Xbox 360 Weekly

The Playstation 3 seems to be on a steady track, overtaking the Xbox 360 sales weekly. In the week ending August 5th, the PS3 raked in 36,759 with the Xbox 360 struggling at 18,471. In other news, to no surprise, the DS dominates the week at 112,253, the Wii at 65,326. The PSP, not doing so bad with 42,428, the PS2 at 34,617.

    you make it sound as though the xbox is horrendously failing. when in actuality its almost at its second year while the ps3 is just not starting its major selling point. ps3s line up is gonna bring sales up though.

    ^^ I agree. The 360 has been out for over 1 year, the PS3 has been out for a couple of months. You dont expect the 360 to keep selling the way it was. However, the Wii is doing better then i though it would.

      Cdemon expects the xbox to keep selling like that though.
      However all it says the ps3 is winning weekely how is that making it like massacring the xbox.

    "with the Xbox 360 struggling" oh yeah thats a massacre all right. i said failing, no need to bring fanboyism into marketing sales. the ps3s time is coming just putting down another equal isnt going to make it happen faster.

      Read what i said how is that making it out to be like a massacre to the xbox.
      Im not saying it is, im saying thats how your making it out to be. I know its not huge its good for sony though, but its not something huge. Besides sony is still winning in terms of sales weekly whether its 1 million or 1,000 still ahead of it which is what it means.

      It's for Europe Japan and Australia by the looks of things. The Xbox 360 is selling least in the majority of pie charts but not all, we have to understand that the Xbox 360 has been out much longer and most people probably own one by now anyway.

      America does not have it's own pie chart by the way.

    After a long time, sales won't stay steady or fast. nobody is going to buy three of the same system. People who are willing to buy the consoles are running out. Since they're always somebody buying the systems.

    thats funny ps3 was suposed to be the worst out of this gen and its selling more than the 360 woah.well 360 is still better.

    It is upping in sales, that is a great thing to hear. At least it is a good sign that sony are doing the right things in getting people to finally buy the console.
