The Witcher series, especially with the second game, Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings, has become one of Poland's national values. Though no one has expected the prime minister of Poland to gift a copy of the game to Barack Obama.

What interested us most was the goodwill presents that the prime minister of Poland, Donald Tusk had given to Mr. Obama. Inside the “goodwill presents” package, there was a copy of Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings Collector’s Edition.

          Are you serious?

Did you have a shitty computer that didn't run it well or did the combat put you off... what? Oh and The Witcher 2 is probably better than anything Bioware has made since Baldurs Gate 2. It pretty much has critical acclaim, you should try it out.

The Witcher was a great game, but the combat was pretty meh. Everything else was fine imo.

I'm not yelling at him, I just wanted to know why he stopped playing the The Witcher It's fine if he didn't like it, a lot of people didn't, mainly because of the bad combat system.

my PC's fine, you got it, the combat system is what i didnt care for. i might try the 2nd one at some point if the combat system is better, but better than all Bioware games since BG2? i find that hard to accept as anything more than your opinion.

I've found the combat system of the first Witcher a bit boring as well (all you have to do is click the left mouse button every X seconds), but it does get a bit more fun when you learn new combos and spells (aka signs).
