A trailer for Call of Duty Elite was leaked early gamer gaia has the scoop! COD Elite is essentially an extension of the COD online experience. Basic online multiplayer will be free, but the extra features will cost you money. As to what those extra features are, we aren't entirely sure just yet.
Jeff Gerstmann, giantbomb.com staff member, just tweeted that someone has leaked one of the most anticipated trailers for the Call of Duty series. The Elite trailer, not scheduled to be released until tomorrow, was leaked just a few minutes ago by an unknown source. Unfortunately, it was pulled down by Activision almost immediately. Thanks Activision!
Although, to be fair, not all the details are out from what I saw. This might not be as bad as I imagine, but I have a feeling it will be incredibly *bleep*ing lame.
*bleep* you, Activision.
It's not much of a stretch to think that we will have to pay for it, but let's not burn Activision at the stake just yet.
This will be awesome if it's free. For the rumored 8 bucks a month it's just.... meh...
EDIT: Hmm, I guess I really did miss it both times. Near the end of the video, it says that some features in the trailer require a paid COD:E subscription. It seems we will have to pay for at least part of what is shown in the trailer.
