With the recent banning of the PS3 ad on Yahoo, Game Radar has taken it upon themselves to find and review Game ads which were banned from public viewing. From the sick to the violent to the just downright weird

With the news that another game advert has been banned from our screens (in this case a PS3 ad on Yahoo and BT's internet site), we thought we'd take a look at some other game adverts that caused uproar and see if the fuss is justified. Are they really so bad they have to be torn down and consigned to YouTube for ever more?

Some of those shouldn't have been banned at all. The last one is the best, though. Why did that one get banned?

Ditto. I don't even see any reason to ban those ads.

Most of those didn't seem to warrant a ban at all.

I'm so glad they showed that banned Xbox 360 where everybody is going "BANG !!!". I was wondering why they didn't post the video sooner.

That one is a good ad. The only one which deserved it was the MK ad', and I thought everyone expected that by now from MK...

The last one's a really good ad'. I like the major nod to Resevoir Dogs.

The last one was good. I remember seeing it before.

None of them really should've been taken down. Sure, the MK one was bad, but it was on age-restricted sites.

The only one I personally found questionable was the Cold Winter Ad. However, that last one was classic.

Some of the Ads that were banned, doesn't even make sense. Like the "bang" one.

There's worse things in movies, yet they aren't banned.

But watching a move is a voluntary act. Having such violence on television is, as the ASA put it, irresponsible.

The PS3 can't even get any exposure because it's Ads keep getting banned. I haven't seen one in weeks. I see wii Ads a few times a day, and the 360's Ad a few times a week.

Well, the second one wouldn't have been clear to everyone, that it is a game...people could interpret it as "Please drive like a maniac, and you'll obtain inner peace once you've obliterated some other car"...

For the call of duty one, well...I hate it when they try to pass off pre-rendered as the actual thing...or when they just use pre-rendered when the game won't actually look that good in the end -_-

    LOL at the "Life is Short" one ;;

The shaolin monks one was behind an age gate...kids own fault if they saw it, by blatantly bypassing the age limit...

Lol, I liked the last one though

I never understood why they do ban somethings they. The french on for the Playstation 2 a while back they ban as they think the thumb looks like a Penis. Like OMG it looks nothing like it ¬_____¬
