Games We Love but Wish We Could Love Playing
13 hours 41 mins ago
It's no secret that movie adaptations of our favorite video games are generally filled with heaps and mounds of crap that amount to nothing more than a sleep inducing suckfest. We've seen the likes of Postal, House of the Dead, Doom, Bloodrayne and many, many more. Gamers the world over hold on to hope that someday a video game will get a movie adaptation that does it justice on the silver screen. Deviant artist Emmy Has A Gun shows us what could very well be one of the best video game movie adaptations to date... if it were real.
Somehow only the worst games seem to get movie counterparts. There must be some sort of unwritten rule that if the game sucks, then there must be a movie to further accentuate the suck factor of the game. Either that, or the movies based on decent games - Resident Evil, Hitman, Prince of Persia, Doom, Etc. - are manhandled by someone who has absolutely no idea what the mind of a gamer is like and therefore decides to alienate the entire fan base with a two hour slap in the face.

It's sort of off-putting because of the somewhat large amount of negative space in each picture and they each almost feel like they're missing something (except for perhaps the Oblivion poster), but somehow it works for me. I like them quite a lot.
However, like Euphoric said, there are 5 Elder Scrolls games. What the hell, GamerGaia?
