Sony has released details about a new version of Modnation racers which has been built from the ground up for the Vita and not a port of the PSP version.

Modnation Racers has been announced today at E3 2011 and it's for the PlayStation Vita Portable. This is not a port of the PSP version, this is entirely built again from scratch and developed specifically for the PlayStation Vita features set.
