Makes sense. I was telling quite a few on Neoseeker that the more powerful console will be the most attractive option. Seems to already be happening.

How the hell does the words "Were targeting the next gen of consoles" mean it won't make it to PS3 or 360? The Wii U is on par with power as the PS3. The next gen of consoles will just mean that it'll be targeting the PS3 / 360 / Wii U and not the original Wii.

Damn I wish people who made these articles actually thought about it first.

I'm not ruling out either possibility, but from the wording the Wii U/PS4/Xbox 720 seem to be what they're referring to.

Like I said, they could mean anything, but that would be my interpretation.

I see that too, I think we're past calling PS3/360/Wii "next gen"

Honestly if they're a year or two out they may switch gears. Often launch titles are pretty weak, and maybe they're going to want to be that title that sells systems initially.

Makes sense too that the original was overlooked, and one way to make sure that doesn't happen is release early in a consoles lifespan.

Wii U is considerably more powerful than PS3 and 360.. The multi platform games shown on it already look better than their PS3 and 360 equivalents and the in-game and real time Zelda HD footage was an entire generation ahead of anything those consoles could do. Wii U is the next gen.. Many were expecting it to merely catch up to PS3 and 360, but the Wii U is literally pushing out visuals in real time that had the PS4 been announced yesterday it would be showing.

Other than the Zelda HD footage, which looked great, all these other 'games shown on it' you are referring to were confirmed to be the PS3 and 360 footage. Don't get me wrong I love the idea of the Wii U, but... I'm hoping it's not going to go the way of the Dreamcast when the PS4/Xbox720 or whatever is released.

I just hope someone over at Square doesn't get any funny ideas and decide to make KH3 WiiU exclusive. I still don't think people are ready for another breed of consoles yet. Everything seems overpriced now, imagine what it's gonna be like when the new gen actually hits. $70 games? No thanks.
