Games We Love but Wish We Could Love Playing

While Manhunt fights its crippling Adults Only rating in the US, Rockstar Games' appeal to overturn the complete ban handed out in the UK by the BBFC isn't looking like a quick fix deal. Indeed, UK-based fans may have to swallow the prospect of the appeal dragging out for months rather than weeks.
Rockstar announced it would be appealing Manhunt 2s ban in the UK last week, but UK trade paper MCV has now warned that the developer could be in for a lengthy scrap with the BBFC before the appeals process is done and dusted. And, as MCV grimly points out, that could mean the hype surrounding the game may well have died down by the time it appears on store shelves.

Does anyone even know that "The Darkness" video game exists????
I'm assuming it got through with an M (18) based on it being "comic book" inspired and not wholly realistic in its expression.
Not that I agree with the bashing of Rockstar, but I do believe that the studio needs to take greater care with the content it produces. Sometimes it seems as though Rockstar produces über contentious games simply because of the hype they will receive... not because they're any good.
