    Please don't kill off Star Fox. It was the reason I bought a SNES when I was a young kid and still play it to this day along with Star Fox 64.

      They should be going for a new Star Fox game before deciding this. People love the Star Fox series and they want something new. Not just a remake of the 64 version.

    The live blogs I read said that Miyamoto's comment was played off as a joke. It wasn't a serious declaration of intent. No need to worry.

      I wouldn't rule out them letting the series sit for a while if this doesn't do well, though. As Dragoon said, if people don't buy the games, why make them?
