Rumor: Surprise Bioshock announcement coming - PS3 version?

The question of whether Irrational Games will bring Bioshock has been the topic of speculation for months. But could Irrational be announcing the PS3 version of this game this weekend? This comes from the fact that Irrational will make a surprise announcement on US television. Could it be a PS3 version, downloadable content, new features?

There may be just two week until Bioshock is released on the Xbox 360 and PC but it seems as if we may not know everything about the title. According to internet reports, Irrational Games is set to make a suprise announcement regarding Bioshock on US Television this weekend alongside a new trailer. Speculation has suggested that the PS3 version is to be announced or perhaps a less exciting announcement of downloadable content is to be unleashed.

    Considering the fact the PS3 has it listed under games i have a feeling its going to be Multi, but like sten says wait and see.

    well XBL had Metal Gear Solid 4 as a pre order, this could of been a mistake as well.

    Doubt it. I saw some sweet Bioshock gameplay preview on GamerTV (Starz channel) and it specifically mentioned that it was coming out for "PC and Xbox 360".

    Yeah its why Official Playstation 3 Magazine has previewed the game like 5 times over the last 6 months... Seriously i don't see why it won't be on the PS3.

      Have they really? Wow that's something I didn't know, something that does sound as if this big announcement will be about Bioshock hitting the PS3. Lets wait and see though, I'll have my fingers crossed that it stays a 360 exclusive though.

    Don't really care if it does or doesn't. Regardless I'm getting it for PC. I have a 360, but I'm more comfortable playing FPS on PC.

    Hopfully this iwll be the news for it and many people are just waiting to hear it, I just dont get why they havent announced the game being on the console already as it should be =[
