Paper Sonic Official Website and Demo Now Available!

Previously announced and revealed as a new indie fan game set to bring Sonic back to his roots, Paper Sonic takes it's next big step in development with the launch of the official website and the first public beta demo! Visit the website for screenshots, gameplay videos, the link to download the demo, and a link to the demo survey. The demo includes the entire first level, including 2 acts of standard level, and a third act for the boss. The demo also lets you play the first level of the special stage.

Welcome to the Official Paper Sonic Website, a subsidiary of Following Revolution! Paper Sonic is a new indie fan game by Mark Korsak and James Garrity. Paper Sonic brings Sonic back to his roots in a fast, action-packed 2D platformer, with a new art style similar to the kind found in the popular Paper Mario series.

You can navigate through the site with the Pages section on the right side of the screen.

  Just give it a try. It's a fan-made PC version of Sonic. Nothing impressive really. I prefer the original.

      why dont you go to the website that the article is linked to? theres screenshots and as i mentioned in this article on gamegrep, theres a demo available, in which you obviously see sonic.

      Hmm i did after i went, It looks like the original Sonic game from Sega, though graphics is different.

Why would they make a Paper Sonic? To mooch off of the success of Paper Mario or attempt to? I'm skeptical about this game, but maybe I will try the demo.

  im not trying to mooch of of paper mario's success by any means. i wanted to make my own sonic game, and i needed a way for it to stand apart from the others, and i loved the paper style, but i use the idea of the paper style a lot differently from the paper mario series. just give the demo a try, you'l like it
