        How is he a hypocrite? He's just telling dads to play a more active role in their lives, to turn off the game to get them to read a book because he thinks that is better use of their time, he's not saying stop playing videogames forever or never pick them up. He's just providing what he thinks is a better use of time.

    I kind of think it was taken far too literally. I dont think Obama was saying "do away with games," but instead start getting kids interested in more than just video games.

    I'll defend gaming when necessary but... I gotta concur: it's getting a little out of hand. Parents, step up and take some more responsibility. And for God's sake, take your heads out of your asses and stop buying your 6 year old kids M rated games!!!

    Personally I think Obama's just ahead of the curb. Seriously, what are you gonna play anyway. Unless you haven't beaten Infamous, Duke, or L.A. Noire there's not much to play. May as well read something good.

    Pick up the Hobbit again and refresh before the movie I say.
