How they plan on integrating motion controls for a first-person shooter where you never see your character outside of cutscenes and have it not suck is beyond me. Based on Ghost Recon's E3 demostration of shooting in that game, making precise shots isn't easy to pull off.

Voice control of allies? You mean the allies that we've never been able to control before and whose AI sucks in the first place? Good luck with that.

Menu navigation? Pass. Imperfect controls will make it more of a hassle than an improvement. Besides, if it's just to navigate the menu, chances are you're going to still have the controller in your hands so you can go straight to playing. If you're going to still be holding the controller, you don't need to stand up and wave your hands in front of your television to get to where you want to go.

Motion controls? Might work for driving vehicles, but vehicles in Halo have been a spur of the moment thing in many situations. In multiplayer, people jump in and out of vehicles all the time. Changing to and from motion controls in a split-second in the middle of a match would be incredibly difficult to put off. Not to mention it would mean having the player keep their Kinect on at the ready.

On rail co-op? Out of all the suggestions, this probably has the best chance of happening. Still, its success is going to depend on how precise they can make the actual shooting.

Agreed. The thing is... they've confirmed it... but I just cannot for the life of me figure out where it'll be in the game...

Out of everything, the On Rail Co-op is the only reasonable idea... but with the latency issues that the Kinect suffers from... anything Kinect orientated will be a silly gimick.
