In the wake of a recent revamp to their currency system, EVE online is charging ridiculoous amounts of money for clothing DLC, including $68 for a space monocle.

In quite one of the most ludicrous cases of overpriced DLC I have ever heard, popular MMO EVE Online has released some new DLC with an absolutely staggering price point. Let's just say blouses are going for $25, skirts for $20 and space monocles are retailing at a whopping $68 in price. Quite why you would shell out so much money on downloadable content so highly priced (particularly when its clothing) is quite beyond me, but I'm sure there's someone out there who would buy it.
