Another week, another roll call of fairly bland gaming releases. While Madden NFL 08 may well pique the multi-platform interest of hardcore sports fans when it arrives tomorrow, the likes of Heroes of Mana (DS), Dungeons & Dragons Tactics (PSP), and 1941 Shells of Fury (PC) probably won't rustle up such enthusiasm.

Although GamerSquad would suggest that you’ve perhaps set your quality alarm a week too early, there are obviously vast sways of American Football fans who’ll be wiping the sleep from their eyes and pulling on their favourite team jersey right about now. And why? Because EA’s sporting granddaddy Madden NFL 08 hits the stores tomorrow.

However, beyond that single multi-platform highlight of the week – which you should fully expect to reach the top of the gaming chart – the remaining rundown for new releases on both sides of the Atlantic still leaves much to be desired.

Two Worlds for the 360 is supposed to be on Wednesday...some sites say the 21st or something, which could be why they didn't include that...

But Many sites still say teh 15th...

We looked into that, and we'd be surprise if Two Worlds even appeared this month, let alone on the 21st, it's been slipping back on the release lists week after week to the point where we've stopped including it until a 'concrete' release is offered.

I called my local gaming store and they said Madden 08 had been delayed until August 31st here in the UK.

It was due to be out today and I really wanted it for the online, but I wont have time to play it now because I go back to school soon. >> thanks a bunch EA Sports.
