La Noire the detective, action mystery game has been seeling like hotcakes! It's sold over 4 million copies even though it really hasn't been out for very long at all.

With some very impressive early stats on display at Chart-Track, and a number of earlier reports detailing its successes in the market, L.A. Noire has hit a sales figure of 4 million units sold worldwide since its May 17th release, coming up second only to Lego Pirates of the Caribbean in terms of top UK sales. Note that the figure describes units shipped, and does not specifically mention how many of those units have actually been purchased by consumers from retailers.
