GamerSquad isn't exactly sure what you'd do with a 7-inch clip-on LCD screen for your PlayStation 3, or how its inclusion to your gaming experience could possibly enhance and/or justify the hefty price tag you agreed to pay for the next-gen HD privilege... but then, if you bought the PS3, then money is no object, and neither is common sense. We jest, we jest... we love Sony's hard-wearing powerhouse. We really do!

The words 'PlayStation' and 'Portable' don't really sit well together unless you're talking about the, y'know, Sony PlayStation Portable, but in the light of similar peripheral efforts designed for rival machines, an add-on LCD screen for the PlayStation 3 was inevitable.

NeVoVer's latest accessory is a 7-inch LCD flip-down screen that mounts directly onto the PS3. Strangely for a firm that sells stuff, the PS3 add-on isn't actually priced, but GamerSquad imagines it'll retail at around the same price as Century's Xbox 360 clip-on screen, and a little more than Hori's equivalent design for the Nintendo Wii.

Another accessory for the PS3 that is quite cool to know it exists but doesn't actually interest me enough to buy.

    Uhhh...I don't believe...

Clip-on TV =/= Portable...just useful anywhere indoors with electrical outlets.

If I had a PS3 I wouldn't take it on the road or anywhere else to play unless it's in a house, preferably on an HDTV.

Well this is a good accessory, if you have a SUV and taking a trip, you can play it in the car. But not something grounding breaking or a need. Also this doesn't make it portable, the PS1 had something similar.

Yeah I agree with finalblade it's still a nice accessory, there will be people rich enough to afford one of these and probably will use it if ever going on a road trip somewhere. It's good but nothing amazing.
