Playstation Pass Info Confirmed

The rumored PlayStation Pass has been confirmed by Sony and it doesn't look good for the used game market. The pass will allow only the initial buyer of a game to use the online capabilities using a code.

We are always evaluating new programs for our online offering, and starting with Resistance 3 this September, we will be instituting a network pass program for PS3 games with online capabilities,"

    Kind of conflicted about this. If Sony let you buy a pass for a used game for a minimal price though, then I guess I'm okay with it.

    EA has been doing this for at least a year or two now.
