Dark Souls Creates New Ways To Challenge Players

Another way the game is going to give us even more headaches than we had is the pyromancers' ability to summon a pet Gravelord. The gravelord randomly selects the world of a player and from there you have respawning enemies. Until the gravelord is located and destroyed the enemies will not stop.

    Lousy reporting.

    A. Gravelord is just the name of an item, it's not a "pet" you can summon. What it does is spawn NPC phantoms in a random world.

    B. Anyone can use this, but for the purpose of the E3 demo only the Pyromancer could. Likewise I doubt only Dark Knights can PvP.

    C. He makes it seem like this is purely a trolling device, which'll be a turn off for some. Now I don't have proof to the contrary, but I think any monkey can figure out it MUST have some use. Most likely to do with getting your Humanity stat up.

      I kinda figured the point of it was to make it so Black Phantoms wouldn't always get ganged up by a player and summoned Blues.
