Sony's SIXAXIS may not be all it's cracked up to be, and it's certainly taken a bit of a pounding from various industry players, but that hasn't stopped Sunflex-Europe from tapping into the olde PS2 fan base in order to tease with its new motion-sensing controller.

Not one to miss a trick (and hoping to capitalise on the PlayStation 2's humongous user base), third-party peripheral maker Sunflex-Europe has revealed the clichéd-futuristic-sounding 'Zero-G Motion Controller' for use with the ageing machine. The technology bestows players with the ability to twist and turn the Dual Shock-alike by way of replacement of the left analogue stick, thus providing "intuitive steering and movement."

Nice idea and all but is word of this ever going to get out? The hardcore gamers have moved onto PS3 leaving only the casual gamers left on PS2, and are they really going to be bothered bout spending money on a new controller just for SIXAXIS? I think not.

    I play PS2, and Wii (like PS3) and I want a wireless..

Word gets round with people with PS2's only, people who think PS3 is rubbish.
