Due to a company in Europe who just managed to file for a trademark before Microsoft, European gamers may not get the chance to experience the wonder of Double Fine Productions most recent masterpiece, Trenched.

Suffering from a bit of "unexpected challenges with distribution," Trenched is unable to be released in Europe because of a company that has already registered a trademark on the word "Trench." In a recent statement issued, Rui Alipio Monterio filed for and was granted the trademark in September of 2009, where as Microsoft filed for the trademark on "Trenched" on May 13, 2011.
