Porting games is not something new for Square Enix, and now they're also considering porting their first MMO, Final Fantasy XI onto the upcoming Sony handheld, the PS Vita.

Square Enix re-releases classic Final Fantasy games quite a lot these days, with Final Fantasy IV being a major culprit. However, it is now contemplating whether or not to re-release a game that no one would expect. Final Fantasy XI... that’s right, their very first MMO may see a release on the PS Vita sometime in the future.
