It's just too bad it looks like the worst DBZ yet.

Yeah right I could easily pick one that's likely worse. DBZB1 (though it was the first PS2 DBZ fighting game so it can be excused), Tenkaichi 1, Raging Blast 1, Raging Blast 2

Budokai 1 still has more depth than this. Tenkaichi 1 didn't try, but was still fun. RB1 and 2 both looked like shit to begin with, and this looks like it takes both of those and makes it worse.

A bit too late on character creations I think. I would of loved something like this about 4 years ago.

They've ran out of ideas and now they resort to this? Still won't be worth the $60.

I'f consider this game if it went back to Budokai gameplay. I hate Tenkaichi gameplay with a passion.

I loved Budokai Tenkachi 2. It really was my favorite of the DBZ fighting games.

The 3rd one was my personal favourite. I played and learned it till I was just about pro at the game. The last fighting game I learned thoroughly before DBZBT3 was Tekken 3.

Tenkaichi gameplay is far better imo and far more suitable for DBZ.

I'm also afraid that it may be a bit too late for character creation and what not. This would have been pretty sweet a while back, being able to choose the race such as Saiyan, Human, Namekian, Android, etc. and then customizing abilities and all of that would have been pretty freakin' sweet.

Unfortunately I feel this game will be for the die hard fans of the series that still love it as well as those who've taken an interest thanks to the DBZ Kai series that has been helping resurge the popularity. Honestly though, I think I'll be passing on this one, even with the character creation.

Budokai 3 on PS2 was the best in the series, in my opinion. I loved tapping x to dodge people's punches and kicks. What's sad about the whole series is that they stick too closely to the cannon. I wish for once that they would try something completely unrelated to the series. Sure it would piss off the 'traditionalists', but common; how many of us have played the Android saga ad nauseam?
