Free Radical, developer of the upcoming PS3 timed exclusive Haze, speaks their mind on why they prefer working on Sony consoles versus Microsoft consoles. As a whole they say, the two companies philosophy on how to approach gaming is just different.

SPOnG caught up with the developers behind Haze, Free Radical, yesterday, and amid all the chat about entering warzones jacked up on drugs and who'd win in a fight between Buddha and Jesus†, some interesting things were said about the PlayStation Network. Specifically, the joy and the terror provided by the freedom it enables.

    It's interesting that Radical are saying Sony's online is easier to develop for since that's what a lot of other developers are saying

      Maybe that's because Sony's Online is not as good (not as developed I should say) as Microsoft's Xbox Live?

    Well what SCE does is that it gives them too much freedom, so the Online Service basically relies on the developers, while Xbox Live gives the "How and where to do this" kind of thing...as far as I understand...which explains why UT3 is coming for PS3 first.
