Capcom states that it was because of little fan interaction that the game was canceled. Don’t know how to feel about this. If anything the negative backlash should concern Capcom. What do you think, were you not excited for the upcoming Mega Man Legends 3?

The negative backlash should strike fear into Capcom. Fear that they are going to lose millions (And Millions!) of fans and money because they stopped making Mega Man games.

Like I said here, Capcom has made a big mistake, and by blaming the fans, that mistake just got magnified exponentially to the point where they took a shit on their own reputation.

I don't see how Capcom is going to be able to fix this without some serious ass-kissing. And I do mean it when I say "serious".

They have been making some serious moneymaking decisions that would make Activision blush for YEARS now. Such as RE4 being re-released about 70 times? Re releasing the same game with exclusive content in a later version? The innumerable Gamecube games re-released on the Wii, etc?

And THIS is what pisses people off? Yeah, okay.

Yes, because no-one said that we had to buy the Resident Evil ports. In THIS case however, they are preventing fans from buying and playing a game.
