if you like playing fighting games on PC youre doing it wrong. one genre that is meant for arcade and console.

Yeah okay, even though Arcade games are designed on computers, because they are, and thus when you buy the arcade versions of titles on a PC, much like Street Fighter IV, it's the ultimate version.

if that was directed at me i dont see how that applies at all. all games are developed on PC, doesnt mean playing them on PC is the best way to go.

Shhh! Don't get PC elitists' panties in a twist, they'll drown the entire comments section with enough smug sense of superiority to last a lifetime.

Not always. Take GTA 4 for example--you have to have a high-end gaming rig to play that game properly on PC because it doesn't function as well on an average everyday PC.

But this could be another mistake to add to the list of recent blunders by Capcom depending on recent opinions of the company (which aren't very good I might add).

it could only be a mistake to those snobby PC elitists that Seeker X was talking about. dont get me wrong, many genres are best played on PC, but that doesnt mean all are.

because what, are you gonna use your keyboard to play a fighting game? that sounds like an exercise in futility. youll plug in a controller, whether its a 360 or a PC made one. so unless a PC is the ONLY gaming "system" you own and youre poor, makes way more sense to simply get the fighting game on your console instead.

Not being a PC snob dude, you can add me on 360 and see how much I play lol. But the majority of games designed on PC are significantly better. Street Fighter IV for instance has much more expansive visual options. Most games developed on a PC platform first have to have their quality compromised for consoles. DICE were talking about it the other day in regards to Battlefield 3, which is why games like that I'll get on a PC.

The problem is that nobody is saying that PC's aren't superior. PC's DO have superior hardware, I know it, MANY know it, LOTS of console gamers know it. Difference being that if console gamers actually cared, they would be playing on a PC. I love gaming, but I despise the idea of using my computer as a main gaming platform for many reasons.

My main gripe is that PC elitist asswipes can't help but start acting smugx1000 whenever a topic like this arises. No need to point out WHY a PC is superior, it's been said to death and people STILL don't care.

play SF on PC just because it has slightly better graphics? a fighting game is not something that benefits from better graphics the way a shooter or RTS would.

so really PC gamers dont need to be complaining whenever a fighting game isnt being made for PC. its not a big deal and you can easily get it on a console. PC fanboys just go around acting like they are kings of everything and get butt hurt when consoles get something they dont. its really sad.

Also, your argument in regards to controllers I don't really understand. PC has FAR MORE joystick options than ANY console. I have PC joysticks, 360 controllers, adapters and all sorts -- on driving games I use a wheel, on flight sims I use a traditional joystick, on fighters I use a pad (would use a fightstick if I had a working one).

only thing you need for a fighting game is a fight stick, which consoles have plenty to choose from.
