EA Sports Vice President Andrew Wilson told Eurogamer that the Wii U should be able to do anything that the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 can do. They hope it'll be able to do even more in the future.

    That's not exactly good news. What they really wanted was it to be as powerful as PS4 and 720.

      the Wii still outsold 360 and PS3 despite being last out the gate and underpowered, will the U be any different?

        yes, the gimmick wont work twice and the economy has a lot to do with it. The Wii is the least use console out of the three. Sony and Microsoft competed for the same market, now that all three are targeting all the markets, the Wii U will not be that successful on a similar gimmick.

        The WII outsold PS3 and 360 because of how cheap it was. The WII U ( in my area at least) Is going to be $700.

          Christ, that's about the same price as 10 new games and 2 new controllers where I'm from.

          I think I'm going to pass on this one, at least for quite some time after initial release.
