An unfortunately bad piece of news today as G-Mode has issued a statement that its CEO Takeshi Miyakji, who is also the Grandia creator, has died at age 45.

There was some sad news today as G-Mode issued a statement explaining that CEO, and Grandia creator, Takeshi Miyaji died on the 29th of July. The cause of death is unknown, but at the young age of 45 it was a very sad piece of news. Grandia holds a special place in my heart as one of my all-time favourite role-playing games, and I’m grateful for everything Miyaji brought to the industry; condolences to his family from everyone at Gamer Gaia.
