It's taken a bit of time, and a few news articles rumouring it, but now finally the UK will be getting a price cut on the Xbox 360 when the Elite is released this Friday.

After already announcing Xbox 360 price cuts in North America and Australia, Microsoft has finally announced that the UK is getting a reduction too. As from Friday August 24, the Premium pack will be knocked down by 30 notes to 249.99 GBP and the Core console will cost 179.99 GBP - a saving of 20 quid.
